Radoslav Georgiev


As ESG Disclosure Lead at ING Group, Radoslav is responsible for shaping ING’s sustainability and non-financial disclosures. His work brings him in close contact with responsible investors, think tanks and NGOs. One of his latest contributions was in the development of the UNEP FI Principles for Responsible Banking, which launched in September 2019. ING was a founding bank of the Principles. Based in Amsterdam, Radoslav also advises on reputation and ESG risk linked to wholesale banking transactions. Furthermore, he is a member of the financial sector Standards Advisory Group (SAG) of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). Before joining ING in 2017, Radoslav spent over eight years at responsible investment (RI) research and ratings firm Sustainalytics. During those years he contributed to the development of sustainability bond frameworks and second party opinions (SPOs), RI policies and strategies, as well as approaches to thematic and impact investing and ESG integration. He also contributed to research methodology development and ESG due diligence projects. Radoslav holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Amsterdam Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business from the University of Portsmouth.
