Sadiq Austine Igmou Okoh


Dr. Sadiq Austine Igmou Okoh is based in Nigeria, is a part of UN Economic Commission for Africa compendium of Climate change experts and a Renewable Energy Expert of the Task Force Steering Committee member for the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR). He is also the Board member of Global Environmental Services and Weather Solutions in Abuja, Nigeria and has been a part of Collaboration network for DNV GL Energy transition outlook. He runs his own company of CarbonFree Africa Network who mainly focus on Carbon free technologies. He holds more than 5 certifications in Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Renewable Energy. He also published more than 1o papers in Sustainability, Low Carbon Civilization, Green Economy, GHG Reduction, Post Kyoto Protocol Negotiation, etc. which are mainly his focus areas. He has published 3 books, Demystifying Sustainable Development in Africa (2013), Political economy of Climate change in Africa (2014) and Pathways to a Green Economy in post Paris Africa which are his greatest contributions to the African society.
