Shteryo Nozharov


Dr. Shteryo Nozharov is based in Sofia, Bulgaria and is a contributing author of UN World Public Sector Report of 2018 focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals. He holds a PhD in Macroeconomic regulation of Carbon Intensity. He has held a numerous position in the Ministry of Environment and Water of Bulgaria as a policy maker involved in the Sustainable Development, Climate change and Investment policies. He is currently working as a Senior Professor in the University of National and World economy and a Member of the Board of Directors of University Research Center for Sustainable Development (UCSD) and Secretary of Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. He has published more than 25 papers and some of them on Transactional cost in Collective Waste Recovery Systems, National Policy for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria, Assessment of policies to increase the Energy efficiency in Transport systems, etc.
