Mr. Ahmed Alengebawy has based in Egypt, at present he is doing his research in Agricultural Bio-Environmental and Energy Engineering in China at Huazhong Agricultural University. He also is a Member of Hong Kong Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (HKCBEES). He is mainly focused on Sustainable Agriculture aligned with Agricultural Bio-Environmental and Energy Engineering, especially the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) which used for the treatment of livestock manure and crop residuals for increasing Energy efficiency. His previous work interest was Agricultural Water Management and Irrigation Engineering for optimizing the irrigation systems and improving water consumption by using Automatic Irrigation Systems. His most recent research works are in the area of Biogas production and the byproducts of biogas production such as biogas slurry as fertilizers by nutrients recovery and ammonia recycling.
