Mr. Zahir Nadery is based in Kabul, Afghanistan, is the Environmental Management Specialist in the Ministry of Public Works, Afghanistan. He has huge experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Environmental Safeguard Assessment. He is currently working with World Bank Project Management unit for the Ministry of Public works engaged as the National Environmental Management Specialist. He is also the team leader for Afghanistan representing the South Asia Youth Research Institute for development. He has been pivotal in assessing the project, vulnerability and entitlement issues in Environmental Safeguard Assessment. He also been part of many Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for many government projects in concern with the holistic sustainable development.
