Mr. Fabrizio Valdes is a Solar PV expert, based in Santiago, Chile. He is graduated from the MSc program in Electrical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and has more than 6 years of experience in Solar Photovoltaics. He is responsible for managing globally and execution of more than 20 photovoltaic solar installations on an industrial scale under the Distributed Generation Law and for self-consumption for ground-mounted, rooftop and carports solar PV projects. He is currently leading the construction of an 825-kW project over the rooftop of Santiago‘s airport for self-consumption. He has also been involved in the research of the potential residential PV development in Chile under net metering and net billing schemes and has given support to the evaluation of PPAs for solar projects at utility-scale as a consultant.
