Mr. Mithun is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Updapt CSR, a technology-driven ESG Advisory product and assurance company. Mithun is based out of Bengaluru, India. He is an ESG Strategy, Policy, Documentation and Scoring Methodology expert with over 12 years of experience at Thomson Reuters. He has partnered with SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Foundation) and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures). He has examined and helped update the SASB Standards for the 2018 edition. Not limiting his expertise in ESG, he is also an AA1000 Licensed Sustainability Assurance Provider. Mithun has worked on several key research projects in energy efficiency, GHG emission, water treatment, and waste management. He is highly knowledgeable in GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), SASB, SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), TCFD and IR (Integrated reporting) guidelines. Mithun is passionate about creating awareness within the corporate industry, and individuals, on the challenges involved in the study and implementation of sustainability as a whole. He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing.
