Ms. Hajar is an experienced Sustainability Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in sustainability and climate change research. She is skilled in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Climate Change Policy. Hajar is a professional in community engagement and behavior change, certified in Community-based Social Marketing. Currently, she is working with Sidewalk Labs, a subsidiary of Google's parent company Alphabet Inc. as a sustainability consultant on the clean recycling project which aims to study how well building residents in Toronto respond to feedback about changing their apartment building's waste sorting behaviors. She is also a faculty member teaching to postgraduate students of the School of Business at Conestoga College, Canada. Hajar has a post-graduate degree in Sustainable Business Management from Conestoga College, Canada, and a master's degree in Climate Change focused on Climate Change mitigation and adaptation policies from the University of Waterloo.
