Nauman Khan


Mr. Nauman Khan is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader in the field of renewable energy industry for the last 15 years. Having an Engineering Degree from IOWA State University, Mr. Khan has also done his MBA in Marketing & Finance back in 1996. He is currently CEO of Pakistan’s leading renewable energy EPC company namely “Grace Solar Pakistan” which founded by Mr. Khan in 2006. The company is engaged in imports, distribution, designing, commissioning and after sales of both solar and wind energy projects across Pakistan and Afghanistan regions. Grace Solar is also present in the UAE with offices in Abu Dhabi and also shortly setting their footprint in Saudi Arabia with offices in Riyadh. Grace Solar is also a major player in the Solar IPP business scene in Pakistan and also working on a 100MW and another 500MW Solar farm in both North and South regions of Pakistan. Mr. Nauman Khan also serves as advisor to the Minister of Energy Government of Punjab and is also on other advisory boards of various RE policy maker non- governmental institutes like PGREF (Pakistan Germany Renewable Energy Forum) which was formed back in 2016 as a result of signing a DOI between Federal Governments of Germany and Pakistan. Mr. Khan also played an instrumental role as member Prime Minister’s Task Force for development of latest Renewable Energy Policy of 2019 which has an exciting target of achieving 30% share of renewables by 2030. Mr. Khan has also been elected Executive Committee Member of FPCCI (Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry) and played a key role in developing the policy document for Standardization of Import of PV Equipment in Pakistan. This vital document is now integral part of customs clearing process of PV equipment on every port of entry of Pakistan and serves as the gateway of highest quality parameters designed keeping in view all prevalent international standards to ensure only quality equipment availability to the investors, developers as well consumers in pan Pakistan market.
